This class is for students who are interested in learning foundational principles which may be applied to all martial arts styles. Rather than covering strictly “techniques” of one style or another, Sifu Diaz will teach body structure and alignment, balance, intention, breath regulation, sinking and expanding energy, body unity, sensitivity, and much more. It is what some would call “internal-style” training, and is rooted in centuries of oriental martial discipline.

The student who is willing to invest the time into having good body mechanics will then be able to branch off into any martial art style with relative ease and proficiency. Not only that, but the Movement Principles Class will benefit anyone simply desiring the health benefits of balance, relaxation, readiness, and proprioception (body awareness) that this class will offer.
